In 1996, from workshops which Nele Wulff von Poser offered to the Thalia Theatre of Hamburg, a drama group developed which wanted to continue working. In 2001 the group applied to take on the form of a state society. In 2002 it was recognised as a non profit making organisation.
Since November 2004 the InKuk Theater has worked exclusively in Berlin. The cultural mix is important to the team , here they can allow themselves to be enriched and stimulated
